![]() Unstoppable might not be adrenaline fuelled, but it is an extremely watchable flick. If u were keeping in touch with the driver n conductor of the rescuing train u would let them know every scrap of info that would be of advantage not just watch til some one asks u ? it's just a bit irritating in what basicley a bob on film.□ Will they stop the train ? You will have to watch it.See if u can see the only part of the film which I found a bit of a let down its near the end. There's underlying issues with both Denzel and Chris to make the film more interesting.+Connie hooper the track boss ,and the Mr Galvin ,Boss at head office to make the film entertaining. After numerous attempts to try n stop the train ,Denzel n Chris go after the 777 train in reverse. Two track engineers who r basicley lazy beggers get a39car train going without connecting the brakes !! The 1 who's actually driving the train to move off the main track jumps out of the cab to pull the leaver so the train can move to a safe area. But as usual something goes wrong The train starts getting faster and the engineer nose dives into the gravel attempting to get back on.Now there's a runaway. This is a smashing film ,keeps u glued u find yourself leaning when the trains nearly coming off the track.Denzel Washington is the train driver n Chris Pine is the green conductor they r the main players. "Unstoppable" is a fun ride in every way. And since it is based on a "true event" I guess I have to accept that one woman is smarter than about twelve men put together The special effects are well under control, the on-site filming gives it credibility, the actors are topnotch, and the villain is so hopelessly stupid that you can't even want to boo him - just have him locked away working in the back room of a fast-food restaurant. Most films of this genre turn you off them for at least a month or three. The movie is like a great thrill ride at an amusement park it grabs you, manipulates you so that you scream in delight, and then lets you off, safe, sound, and ready for the next ride. But it is so well made that though you are not glued to the edge of your seat in suspence, you are focused totally on what is going on, and you get to care about the two leads even though you know that they are really in no danger. "Unstoppable" is completely predictable from the first second to the last. Even as the opening credits roll, you know the ending of the movie. ![]()
